April J. Hale, 45, passed away Dec. 27, at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, surrounded by her family.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Greg and Paula (Lupo) Hale. She was a graduate of Somerville High School, class of 1989. She was employed as a manager for 7 Eleven in Haverhill. She was a member of the Granite Trinity Church in Haverhill. Hale had a love for books, was an avid reader and she passed that on to her children and others. She loved the water and going to the beach where she enjoyed fishing.
Hale is survived by her companion Lou M. Martinez of Haverhill; children, Steven Murphy of Georgetown; Taylor Murphy of Bradford; Kailyn Martinez, Ariel Martinez and Jaden Martinez all of Haverhill; siblings, Derek O’Connor and Dale Lupo; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Tara O’Connor.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Monday, Jan. 2, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services follow in the funeral home at 7 p.m.
